The club or association was organized in 1929 under the name of the “Waterloo County Fish and Game Protective Association” and then Incorporated to the present name “Pioneer Sportsmen Club” on March 14, 1946, with a registered Charter containing the By-Laws of the club or association.
The purpose and objects of the club is to promote interest in and advocate legislation towards Conservation in all of it phases. To promote interest in and provide facilities for Archery, Handgun/Rifle shooting, Camping, Hiking, Conservation projects and other similar activities and to encourage and promote good sportsmanship.
