Street Tech Racing in Kitchener needed the car in the shop for sub frame connectors, torque box reinforcement plates and to rebuild the traction-lock with new clutch packs. I needed to get the car out of the bodyshop now !!

You'll notice the left marker light bulb dangling in the breeze and the absence of the 5.0 fender emblems. I'll take the car back to Royal Auto Body in the spring to have the shiney new parts installed when they come in. I hung on to all of the original parts including the hood ornament.

$200 USD for that little NOS sucker and the only place I could find one was at Performance Parts Inc in Virgina, so take a close look. My used one could be on e-bay in 20 years for twice that amount.

Those Ford ovals inside the airdam look pretty goofy hovering around in the blackness and it's not hard to imagine starting a game of Pong, however, Marchal fog lamps are expensive (I know, I had to buy one) so I'll just keep the original covers safe until I shoot some more pics.

Hopefully, when I take new pics I will A: Learn how to use a digital camera and B: Get proper lighting and C: Learn it all over again after 2 coats of Liquid Glass are applied.

The metallic silver paint is picking up reflections from everywhere. Bummer. I love it.
Take a closer look at the hood. Those are clouds.

I might want to add holding the camera steady or at least buy a cheap tripod to my to do list, because those deck emblems are definitely fuzzy in this pic.

I also got some decent repro and NOS parts from Fox Mustang Restoration in Florida. Thanks Matt. Those parts will come in handy down the road.

Many thanks to Royal Auto Body, Street Tech Racing and Performance Parts Inc for their help in restoring this vehicle to better than showroom condition.
It doesn't have the new car smell, but I'm happier now than the day I drove it off the dealer's lot in 1982.
PS: It snowed that day too !!
